Yesterday Tuesday May 6th the deerstalker drove me to meet  Cunninghame Ramblers  at Dailly square to visit the wonderful gardens in Bargany Estate which the owners kindly open to the public during the month of May. 25 walkers made their way into the estate past the Brunston Castle golf course and alongside the waters of Girvan. Once into the estate our first stop was the superb gardens with all their spring colours on the various trees and plants. Afterwards we had a lovely walk through the grounds until we came to
Kilgrammie woods with its lovely tree lined paths back to the village to end our 8 mile walk still bathed in warm sunshine. Thanks to the the leader today for organising the walk it was very much appreciated as most of the group had never visited the estate before.
