| The wrecking trio. |
Yesterday morning Wednesday 11 June in the company of the bear ,the teacher and the deerstalker we set out on a warm sunny morning from the village of Straiton to recce this 9 mile walk to Back Hill of Knockgarden for Wigtownshire ramblers and possibly some of the other groups we are all involved in. As it was recce I will not go into too much detail but due to the recent wet warm weather the going was tough,lots of tussocks and nettles not really suitable for walkers dressed in their shorts. However we have the basis of a fine walk which still requires some alteration to get it right for a group.
