Yesterday was St Patrick's Day at the Cronies Club in Ayr. Each member contributing a wee something to the bar ensured it was to be a very jovial afternoon. The day commenced with one of the cronies giving us a bit of history on St Patrick. In actual fact he was not Irish as we all believe, he was born in Dumbarton which is down the Clyde from Glasgow.Once the official toasts were given the afternoon then developed into a sing song some Irish tunes were heard and some not so Irish if you get my meaning.All the able bodied cronies then helped to clear up to end a most enjoyable afternoon. Thanks to all who assisted in making it another memorable occassion.
